CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT
I love taking a big idea and figuring out how to bring it to life. From the message and audience to the creative direction and rollout, I build campaigns where every piece works together to tell the same story and move people to act.
SHOW YOUR CARD. GET A DEAL!
Community Partnership Campaign | Niles-Maine District Library
A library card buisness partnership program I developed to connect local businesses with Library cardholders. I built the initiative from outreach through promotion, researching prospective partners, developing recruitment messaging, contacting and visiting local businesses, and creating an ongoing promotional strategy that included business spotlights, partner materials, window decals, and community activations.
The Impact
The program grew into long-term relationships with local businesses, with some partners later supporting the Library through in-kind donations. Show Your Card. Get a Deal! also became part of the Library's larger Best. Deal. Ever! campaign, an integrated library card initiative that received a John Cotton Dana Library Public Relations Award.
BEST. DEAL. EVER!
Integrated Marketing Campaign | Niles-Maine District Library
A collaborative campaign developed to increase library card ownership by reframing the library card as one of the best deals in the community. Working alongside my supervisor and graphic designer, I led much of the campaign's copy and content development, writing brochures, advertising, social media, blogs, and other promotional materials. I also contributed to Library Card Sign-Up Month planning and brought Show Your Card. Get a Deal!, the business partnership program I created, into the larger campaign.
Â
The Impact
The campaign exceeded its goal of increasing new library card registrations by 10%, resulting in a 12.53% increase in the rate of new card sign-ups compared with the previous year. Active cardholders also grew from 39% to 42.2% of district residents. Best. Deal. Ever! went on to receive a John Cotton Dana Library Public Relations Award.
FAMILY SHABBAT ON THE LAKE
Integrated Event Marketing Campaign | JCC Chicago
A multi-channel campaign for one of JCC Chicago's signature summer traditions at Lincoln Park Zoo. I developed the campaign messaging and managed a coordinated promotional rollout across email, social media, web, newsletters, print, on-site promotion, and community partners, adapting the message for different audiences and channels while maintaining a consistent story of connection, tradition, and summer adventure.
Â
The Strategy
Rather than positioning the event simply as a Shabbat service and dinner, I leaned into what made the experience distinctive: Shabbat at the zoo. The campaign paired the warmth and connection of a family Shabbat with animals, lakefront views, a scavenger hunt, and the excitement of kicking off summer together.
Â
I built the promotional timeline around multiple audience touchpoints, beginning nearly two months before the event and coordinating messaging across JCC Chicago's owned channels, physical locations, community partners, and external media. The rollout also incorporated registration deadlines and early-bird pricing to create natural moments for renewed promotion.
